About Me
Hi, I am Bobby and I am deaf. I don't say this so that you will feel sorry for me, because I have probably always been deaf; but it is important for you to know so that we can begin our communication together in a productive way. Because of my lack of hearing, I don't communicate by barking (I am nice and quiet) and I can sleep through even some of the noisest environments. But I am also really smart, emotionally sensitive, intuitive and quick to learn. All of the volunteer dog walkers love me because I don't pull on a leash, do great on walks, am really well house-trained and love to snuggle. I have been working with a local dog trainer and her team and my local dog trainer friend is willing to give you three free lessons so that we can start to communicate with each other faster. It would really need to be you and me because I can be dog selective (the looks of some dogs scare me), so I would do best as an only dog or would need to meet any other dogs in the home before adoption. Its also important to know that I like to chase cats so I need a home without them (while it's fun for me, I respect that it might not be as fun for them). I would be a great apartment dog due to my lack of hearing; because of this I rarely bark. If you have a special place in your heart for a dog with my special gifts, then I can't wait to meet you! Love, Bobby
