Meet this week’s Pets of the Week! Lily is a seven-year-old, female Chihuahua that is shy and need of a patient family, Holly is an 11-year-old cat with looking for a second chance at love and Foco is a one-year-old mouse that has been waiting for his forever family since July!
Lily is a seven-year-old Chihuahua mix. She came to Larimer Humane Society just before Christmas. This sweet little dog is in need of a patient home that will make her feel safe and help her build her confidence. Because of her fearful nature Lily would do best in a home with children over the age of 12. If you think your home might be a good fit for Lily swing by and meet her. Her adoption fee is $175.
Holly is an 11-year-old, female cat looking for a new family. Holly came to us as a stray back in November. She was suffering from untreated illness and very matted. We provided her with the TLC she needed. We provided her with a dental cleaning, bath and grooming and medical diagnostics to find that she has some early signs of kidney insufficiency. Because she came to us a stray we don’t know a lot about Holly’s past or behavior in a home setting but what we do know is that she is a sweet cat that deserves a loving home. If you have room in your heart and home for a cat in need consider adopting Holly. Her adoption fee has been paid for by a generous community member to help her find a new home.
Don’t quite have enough space for a dog or cat? A mouse might be a perfect compromise! Foco is a one-year-old mouse that would make a great pet! He came to Larimer Humane Society in July, and has been looking for a home ever since. At only one-year-old, Foco has a lot of love left to give. Mice can be very playful and entertaining pets, as well as fairly low-maintenance. They are also social creatures, so consider taking home another mouse friend along with Foco. His adoption fee has been waived to help him find his new family.
