POTW 07.23Come say “hi” to our Pets of the Week! This week we are introducing Banjo, a three-year-old playful Pointer mix, Princess, a 10-year-old senior kitty who needs a special, quiet home, and Cocoa, an adorable floppy-eared four-year-old rabbit!

Need a hiking partner or someone to accompany you on your runs? Banjo would love to come with you! Banjo is a three-year-old male pointer mix who needs an active home that will provide him with a lot of exercise, enrichment, and of course, playtime! Banjo is a very happy dog, but he has a hard time containing his excitement about life and will need to go to a home that is either adult-only or where the children are older than age twelve. Banjo will repay you with lots of love and never-ending loyalty! Swing by and meet Banjo today! He can go home with you for $175.

Princess is a 10-year-old senior kitty who could use a quiet home. This little girl has been with us for almost three months, and somehow still hasn’t been adopted! Princess needs a special family who can provide her a place for her to live out her golden years, and a place where she can truly be the queen of the castle! This sweet girl does not like other cats, and she will need to be kept as an indoor-only pet. Princess is sensitive to stress, and will need some extra time to adjust to her new home. Do you think this adorable kitty could fit well into your home? Come by and see her today! Her adoption fee has been sponsored, so now all she needs is you!

Meet Cocoa! Cocoa is a four-year-old brown and white short-haired rabbit who has adorable floppy ears. This cute little bunny is shy and gets scared when picked up, and she will need a home with older children or only adults who will treat her gently. Rabbits have unique personalities, kind of like cats do, and they can even be litter box trained! If a cat or dog doesn’t seem like the right pet for you, consider adopting Cocoa for $25! We also have guinea pigs, mice, rats, lizards, and chickens all here at Larimer Humane Society so if you’re looking for a new family member, check us out!
