Thank you for your interest in opening your heart and home to a homeless cat!
These cats are available for adoption at Larimer Humane Society. If you don’t see an animal that meets your needs, please check back regularly as we are always getting in more cats looking for loving forever homes. All cats will be fully vaccinated, spayed or neutered, tested for FELV/FIV, and microchipped. We ask adopters to provide nutritious food, fresh water, shelter and future veterinary care.
Adoptable animals may be placed on hold for a $20 non-refundable and non-transferable fee. The fee is not applied to the adoption of the animal. In order to place a hold on an animal, you must visit with the animal in person. Multiple holds can also be placed on an animal, in the case that someone decides to not move forward with an adoption. If an animal has an existing hold, you will see an “ON HOLD” image above their photo. Any existing holds will also be noted in the “About me” section when you click on an animal’s profile.
Consider adopting a working cat.
All types of cats come through our doors. Most of these cats will make great indoor companions, but a few just wouldn’t be suited for a life of leisure. Our working cats program places cats who are less social with humans, or who used to live outdoors, with families outside of city limits, where they can live more independently in a barn or shop.
