Larimer Humane Society is standing by to assist families affected by both the Cameron Peak and East Troublesome Fires. New evacuations for both fires continue to be enacted for the region. We are assisting those needing to evacuate by providing temporary housing and/or transportation for companion animals and small barnyard animals, or providing support from our shelter partners. More information is available on our wildfire information webpage which can be found by clicking the button on the right.
In response to Colorado’s Safer-at-Home directives, Larimer Humane Society is requiring face coverings for all individuals entering the building, and limiting the number of individuals in our lobby areas. Additionally, we are only able to accommodate two individuals per party in our building at this time. Please visit our COVID-19 page for a full listing of service modifications. We appreciate your support and cooperation as we work to ensure staff, volunteers, and clients remain safe while delivering the highest quality of care to the animals and our community.
