Calling all kids ages 3-6: It’s STORY TIME with the animals!
Larimer Humane Society is pleased to offer a FREE story time for children ages 3-6 years old, one Thursday per month from September through May. Sessions are held in the Behavior & Training Center at the shelter from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on the following dates:
■ February 16, 2012
■ March 8, 2012
■ April 12, 2012
■ May 17, 2012
At each session, we will:
- Read an animal-themed book that fosters kindness, empathy, & responsibility
- Complete an animal-related craft
- Have a visit with a shelter animal
- Discuss ways to help animals in need
There is no fee to attend. If possible, we ask that participants each bring an item from our wish list to help the animals being cared for at Larimer Humane Society, although donations are not required. Children MUST be accompanied by an adult.
