 We adopted our dog Sophie 3 weeks ago. She has been the absolute perfect dog for us. She has been just wonderful with our 3 kids and is a great family dog. We couldn't be more pleased. Thank you Larimer Humane Society for all of your hard work placing animals.

 We adopted Bear June 5, 2007. He had just had surgery for cherry eye in both eye's and he was so sad and pitiful. We were not looking for another dog when we came in, we were looking for a hamster for my son. We had a 2 year old beagle already. But after one look at Bear, I knew he had to come home with us.

 We needed to get a dog for our dog (she was lonely).We decided to go to the Larimer Humane Society in Fort Collins, Colorado to find a new playmate for our Ali (very lovey, 6 year old, black lab). When we came across "Dotty", a 4 year old Lab/Weimerainer mix, we decided to take her home that night. It was a great decision! Ali loves her to pieces. The two of them immediately liked each other.

 I have MS and I was feeling like I was heading for a wheelchair. Instead I thought about a service dog. I've had Labs before and knew they were wonderful dogs. So I got a "wild hair" and went to the humane society, "just to look". I found a golden retriever/lab 5 yr old.

 Thank you LHS! We adopted Rubi - a 6 yr old Corgi. The info in the surrender paperwork, as well as the Canine-Ality and Safer behavior evaluations was invaluable in helping us find the right dog.

 I adopted India (SHF) and Panther (LHM) from you in 2002. Although not siblings, they get along okay. India won't let Panther groom her because sometimes he engages in surprise attacks when she is sleeping. India will fetch a ball and return it to me to throw again, and Panther likes to hang out with me in the bathroom. Please consider adopting black cats as they make wonderful companions.
