18th Annual Fire Hydrant 5 Event Information PDF Print E-mail

08fh5_logo_web.jpgA tail wagging thank you to the 521 participants and their 288 canine companions, who along with event volunteers, pet fair vendors and sponsors, made the 18th Annual Fire Hydrant 5 a success for the animals in our Northern Colorado community! the Pet Fair, with 42 booths, featured breed rescue groups, pet related vendors, paw painting, fido photos, agility demonstrations and more! The event raised over $27,300 for the Larimer Humane Society and our work the help animals. Please view the event slideshow from our online Photo Gallery and we'll see you next year!

When Does the Fun Begin? PDF Print E-mail
The Fire Hydrant 5 is Saturday May 10, 2008 at Edora Park in Fort Colllins. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. 5K Race begins at 8:30 a.m. 3K Walk and Fun Run begins at 9:30 a.m. Pet Fair is 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The Fire Hydrant 5 is a Bolder Boulder qualifier. This event will be held rain or shine!

Mark your calendar to join us for a unique evening to benefit the homeless animals of Northern Colorado at "Copa-cat-bana" presented by Home State Bank.

 

Date and Location

  "Copa-cat-bana" is Saturday October 25th at The Ranch Event Complex in Loveland, Colorado.

Evening's Events

This unique evening will include a silent auction, live auction hosted by adoptable animals, entertainment, gourmet food and more. The festivities begin at 6 p.m. Special guests include Event Emcee Chief Meteorologist Mike Nelson from Channel 7 News and Chris Kelly and Ryan Kramer from KISS 96.1 FM.

Reservation Information

Reservations are $90 per person or $650 for a top dog table that includes VIP Reception and auction preview. Please note that online registration will be available August 28th. For reservation availability please call (970) 226-3647 extension 135 or 241.

Evening's Menu

Feast your eyes soon on the gourmet food that will be prepared for our evening in "Copa-cat-bana". Seated dining will be in the main ballroom.

Proceeds from the event benefit the Larimer Humane Society, an independent nonprofit organization providing shelter and care to 12,000 domestic, exotic, barnyard and wild animals each year.
