pdf Director of Operations; Regular Full-Time Salaried

pdf Client Service Representative; Regular Part-Time (estimated 34 to 38 hours per week).  Salary:  $9.50 per hour.  Closes July 28. 

pdf Officer, Animal Protection and Control; Full Time, Hourly, Seasonal Position (3 to 4 months).  Salary:  $11.50 per hour.  Closes August 1.

Larimer Humane Society conducts criminal background checks and requires drug testing of all employment candidates.

As an independent nonprofit organization, Larimer Humane Society relies on volunteers to care for animals, raise funding, and help educate our community on our services and programs. Whether you're interested in simply spending quality time with homeless animals or want to learn valuable hands-on skills, our volunteer program can accommodate your interests. Your time is a valuable gift, and just a few hours a week will make an incredible difference in the lives of homeless animals. In 2009, our volunteer team donated 57,377 hours worth $1,196,310 in salary time!
 
Volunteer Positions
Do you most enjoy working directly with animals in the shelter environment, or are you best suited for a climate-controlled office? Are you a clean-freak who loves the chance to scrub, launder, and sweep? Are you a student looking for experience with animals? Perhaps you’re more of a “people person” who relishes the opportunity to educate others about Larimer Humane Society’s mission and services. No matter what your interests, there are many different opportunities through which you can donate your time and skills to our organization. Please review our volunteer position descriptions and learn about age, training, and shift requirements. Please note that you can volunteer in more than one department, and we encourage you to do so!
