We’re back at it again with our Pets of the Week! First there’s Fred, the happy, red Chihuahua mix who’s ready for a home. Next, Liza the grey shorthair cat who loves to nap when she’s not working. And finally, we have Bob Ross the chicken who may not be as good with a brush, but makes up for it with an awesome head of feathers.
Fred is not your typical Chihuahua. Since he’s a mix, he’s a little bigger than most others of his breed, which makes him twice as full of fun! This bashful three-year-old loves to play outside and cuddle with toys! He’ll match pace with you on walks whether it’s a leisurely stroll or a quick jog, he’s just happy to be with you! Since he is a little shy, he would do well in a dog-loving home with no kids. This good boy has been waiting to find his forever home for over a month now, so help us end his search today! Make his (and your) day for only $175!
Working Cat for hire, no interview required! No lie, Liza is the Russian Blue for you! This nine-year-old cat with grey coloring has been with us since April! After Liza was put in our Pets Needing Patience program for her shyness, we realized that she would be happier as a Working Cat! Her job requirements include two meals a day, housing outside city limits in a barn or outdoor building, and future veterinary care. Her fee, like all of our adult cats for the month of July, has been waived, so come adopt her today!
This is one happy little chicken. Not only does Bob Ross have the hair of his namesake, he also looks like he could be one of his paintings! This handle-able three-month-old grey and white rooster is flighty for a bird that can’t fly. If you are a morning person with a home outside city limits and a broken alarm clock then Bob Ross is the bird for you. His fee has been waived so he’s ready to go home when you are!
