The temperatures are rising, and we have three great summertime pets ready for homes! You will meet Bailey, a sweet but shy one-and-a-half-year-old red Rhodesian Ridgeback and Beagle mix; Max, a handsome fifteen-year-old brown striped cat; and Milo, a cute two-year-old rabbit with wild white and brown fur. Whether you prefer being active outside, lazing around in the sunshine, or chilling in the backyard, we have a wonderful furry friend for you!
Do you love hanging out in the sunshine? Do you need a buddy? Bailey might be the perfect pal for you! Although this cute girl might seem a little hesitant at first, once she warms up she is very friendly and loves to play fetch. At just under two years old, this red Rhodesian Ridgeback and Beagle mix has lots of playtime left—now she just needs someone to throw the ball! Bailey is looking for a quiet home with no young children, but once she builds her confidence she is sure to warm up. Just look at those soulful eyes—could you give her the patience and love she needs to come out of her shell? Come by and meet this sweet lady today – her adoption fee is $175.
Meet Max! If you prefer lounging in a nice sun room this summer, then Max might be your match. This fifteen-year-old brown tiger-striped cat is looking for a home that can give him comfort and love in his golden years. With thick medium to long hair, this older man has aged very gracefully, and we don’t know why he has been at the shelter since March. He has no behavior or medical restrictions, so he is ready to go home with you today! His adoption fee has been sponsored by generous community members and volunteers, so all he needs now is a family.
And finally we have Milo, a two-year-old bunny with rock star hair. Seriously, he is pretty cool looking—and he knows it. Milo has long tufts of soft white fur, along with awesome brown and grey spots around his eyes and ears. He even has a neat little stripe along his back! Hair aside, this handsome guy is healthy with no restrictions and is pretty friendly. He might be a little nervous at first, but once he gets to know you he is easy to handle. If you have a backyard hutch, he would love to hop around and keep you company in the warm summer evenings. His adoption fee is just $25, so come see him today!
