Welcome to Pets of the Week! Today we are featuring some pets who would be very thankful to come home with you for the holidays! Meet Morticia, a friendly two-year-old cattle dog mix, Snickers, a fourteen-year-old kitty who would love to curl up in your lap, and Bart, a three-year-old Bearded Dragon who would do well with an experienced owner.
Morticia is a two-year-old cattle dog mix who was transferred to us from an Oklahoma shelter. Our new shelter has a lot of extra space that allows us to help animals in need from other cities and states! Morticia was underweight and scared when she came to us. Now, Morticia is a happy girl who gets very excited to see the people she loves! However, she can be shy in the beginning and may need some extra time to adjust. Morticia was enrolled in our Pets Needing Patience program and has become much more comfortable during her stay at the shelter! This cute girl may do best in a quiet home. Please come by and meet her today! She can be yours for $175!
Looking for the perfect lap-cat? Snickers is the one for you! Snickers is a fourteen-year-old brown tiger kitty who has been at the shelter for almost two months. This cute girl likes things to be on her own terms, and is not a fan of being picked up. However, she is always content to be a lap-warmer! Snickers would love to curl up on you while you read a book or watch a movie. Previously, Snickers lived with children, played with them, and enjoyed the company of her people. Can you take Snickers home with you? Her adoption fee has been sponsored by some generous volunteers, so all she needs now is you!
Did you know that Bearded Dragons and Leopard Geckos are the most popular reptile pets? Well, we have both! Bart is a three-year-old Bearded Dragon who came to us when his owner had a change in lifestyle. We are happy to have Bart up for adoption, and we believe he will do well with an owner who has previous reptile experience! Bart is a little under-socialized and will do well in a home with older children or only adults. This chill guy loves to bask under his heat lamp and look out at the world. Do you think he will do well with your family? Come meet him! He can be yours for $25!
