Theo

Theo

Theo was brought to Larimer Humane Society after surviving a trip trapped under the hood of a car—all the way from Wellington to Denver! She appeared to have minor burns on her paw pads and some bruising on her abdomen. After weeks of diligent veterinary care from Larimer Humane Society staff, Theo was finally healed, healthy and ready to find her forever home.

Once she was put up for adoption, her new mom came in and thought she was the prettiest cat. It was love at first sight; Theo had found a forever home.

Theo is extremely social, running to greet her family whenever they wake up in the morning or come home from work. She loves being with people, and she’ll follow her family around to different rooms just to be with them. She’s a great buddy who loves to cuddle, purr, and rub on legs.

Sally Ann

FY17 Calendar 9Sally Ann was surrendered to Larimer Humane Society at the age of six months. Her original family wanted a guard dog, but Sally Ann was just too sociable!

Sally Ann waited patiently for her new forever family to come, and when they found her she was lying calmly in her kennel, with her paws crossed in a very ladylike manner.

Ladybug

LadybugSenior animals can have a harder time finding homes, but they make excellent pets! Ladybug is an example of a senior cat who has found a new home to fill with joy.

When Ladybug was 15 years old, she was surrendered by her owners to Larimer Humane Society. Her new family was looking for a sweet, loveable cat, and Ladybug caught their eye when she stuck her paw out of the cage to reach for them as they passed by. They fell in love with her little chirps and took her home.

Toby

FY17 Calendar 5

Toby's first owner surrendered him to Larimer Humane Society because he was moving. Lucky for Toby, there was a twelve-year-old boy looking for a pet that was funny and easy to take care of. Toby has certainly added humor to his new family's life! He loves to 'acquire' things, including socks, shoes, a banana, gloves, hats, jewelry, toys, and the television remote.

Sookie

SookieDespite a hard start to life, Sookie radiates such love and kindness. She came to Larimer Humane Society at the age of two with a wire in her jaw, likely from gum surgery that didn't end well, that needed to be removed. The repair took three surgeries before the sutures held long enough for the tissue to heal.
