Not everyone knows that in addition to dogs, cats, and other domestic animals, Larimer Humane Society also looks after small farm animals like goats! As an open admission shelter, our doors are always open to animals in need. So when Crumpet and Buttermilk arrived, they were welcomed and put up for adoption.
Now, these silly three-year-old goats are living large with a herd of goats at their forever home. They love roaming around the pasture and jumping on things. Buttermilk and Crumpet spend their mornings playing with each other and other goats in the herd. Head-butting is a go-to move for these two. The goats are smart. It doesn’t take them long to figure out which of your pockets contains peanuts (Buttermilk’s favorite treat!). Best of all, they’re friendly, and a perfect fit for their forever family.
