Andrew Hensen

Andrew Hensen is the Secretary of the Board of Directors for Larimer Humane Society and a member of the Board Development committee.  He joined the Board of Directors in October 2009.  Hensen is the owner and president of TechSmart Solutions, Inc., an IT consulting company serving Northern Colorado that specializes in providing superior IT services, solutions and support for small business and individual computer users.  At TechSmart, Hensen is responsible for the overall management of the organization including business development, sales, human resources, accounts payable/receivable, marketing and, of course, the foundation of the business, IT consulting.

Prior to founding TechSmart Solutions, Inc., listed as one of the region’s fastest growing private companies in Northern Colorado Business Report’s Mercury 100, Hensen attended Colorado State University where he majored in computer science.  He is a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP). 

Hensen’s top priority as a Board member is to further Larimer Humane Society’s mission to promote and provide for the responsible care and treatment of animals through humane education.    

Hensen lives with his wife Nicole and three children in Fort Collins, Colorado.  Together, the family provides care for their three furry family members: their two Pomeranians, Maxine and Mallory, and Gracie, their 22-year-old cat.
