Barb Ainsworth

Barb Ainsworth is a member of the Board of Directors for Larimer Humane Society.  She joined the Board of Directors in November 2010.  Ainsworth is the co-owner as well as the Business Development Manager for Dale’s Mobile 1 Lube Express in Loveland, Colorado.

Prior to joining her husband in their joint business venture, Ainsworth served as the Club Manager for Sam’s Club, Fort Collins.  In this key role, Ainsworth was responsible for the oversight of all Club operations, including human resources, merchandising, front-end operations, membership, marketing, sales, and accounting.  There, she was responsible for driving sales; reviewing and projecting sales trends; analyzing, evaluating and forecasting the store’s financial performance; and ensuring compliance with Wal-Mart stores’ legal policies, procedures and regulations.

Prior to serving as the Club Manager, Ainsworth held numerous other management positions within the company.  She was employed with Sam’s Club from 2000 - 2011.

Ainsworth resides in Loveland with her husband Dale, and a menagerie of pets including two Basset Hounds, Bosley and Betsy; one Sheltie, Lola; one Redbone Coonhound, Dewie; two cats, Aspen and Lexi; and one Mollucan Cockatoo, Abigale.   Together, Ainsworth and Dale have two grown children:  Alex, an Army Cavalry Scout and Christopher, an aspiring music producer.

Ainsworth began volunteering with Larimer Humane Society as a young child and is happy to put her business expertise to work as a member of the Board of Directors.  Her primary goal in this capacity is to help disseminate information about Larimer Humane Society’s non-profit status, to help the community recognize the tremendous role Larimer Humane Society plays within the community, and to bring businesses, both large and small, together to help fund and support the organization’s programs and services.
