pdfAnimal Foster and Transfer Coordinator
Regular Full-Time (40 hrs), Non-Exempt, Hourly

Larimer Humane Society is growing the Foster and Transfer team and is currently seeking qualified applicants for a Foster and Transfer Coordinator.  Our Coordinator positions are responsible for the Shelter’s animal foster care and animal transfer programs.  Position responsibilities are primarily coordinating foster care appointments, responding to foster volunteer needs and working with animal transfer partners.  Work tasks include coordination of foster care volunteer home inspections and recruiting, training and supervising department volunteers as well as coordinating the movement of animals in and out of foster care and to and from transfer partners.  The position will involve driving long distances and some overnight stays as needed.  Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in biology, animal behavior, animal husbandry, a related field or equivalent applicable work experience.  Minimum of one year companion animal care and handling required as is proven customer service experience.  Euthanasia and vaccination certification desirable.  The work schedule for the job will be five days a week including one weekend day.  Overtime and attendance at some events will be required.  Please include days and times of availability in cover letter.

Regular Full-Time (40 hrs), Non-Exempt, Hourly

Larimer Humane Society is seeking qualified applicants for the position of regular full-time (40 hours per week) Client Services Representative (CSR).  This is a regular full-time, 40 hour per week, position.  Our CSRs represent the Organization in a professional and courteous manner and provide quality service at the Shelter’s front desk.  The job requires great customer service skills, both in person and over the phone.  English and Spanish bilingual skills and experience are a plus.  Must be able to quickly learn and accurately use specialized software as well as learn and apply a wide range of policies and procedure.  Work includes processing animal adoptions, animal returns to owners and animal surrenders as well as physical animal handling, data entry and other duties.  The job includes both sedentary work when processing client information and physical work when handling animals.  Must have emotional intelligence, work ethics and integrity skills. Regular Full-Time (40 hrs), Non-Exempt, Hourly

Larimer Humane Society is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Client Services Supervisor.  Our Client Services Supervisors are responsible for the operations of our Adoption and Intake areas, during a particular shift, ensuring services to clients are consistent and high quality.  Services include animal adoptions, returns, intakes, merchandise sales and more.  The job is a full-time, 40-hour per week, working supervisor position.  Incumbents train and supervise Client Services Representatives and volunteers, and are engaged in client services tasks.  Additional responsibilities include participating in our Shelter Team and Supervisor and Manager meetings and reviewing work-flow, creating schedules and suggesting and implementing improvements.  The job involves daily, hands-on, interaction with animals including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds, various types of reptiles and more.  Requirements include two years of customer service experience plus one year of proven staff supervisory experience, preferably in an animal related industry, or six months of Larimer Humane Society Lead experience.  Proven emotional intelligence, work ethics and integrity skills required.  The schedule for this position will include a weekend day and overtime will be required as needed.  Please include start date availability, days and times of work availability and pay requirements in cover letter.  Local candidates preferred as there is no relocation assistance available for the position.

Larimer Humane Society is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Director of Development and Community Relations.   Reporting to the CEO, the position is responsible for strategic overall direction and management of the Development and Community Relations division.  This includes providing director level guidance for development, special events and community outreach, marketing and public relations, volunteer programs and humane education.  Directs division activities and provides leadership to promote Larimer Humane Society in the communities we serve and to ensure a broad base of funding resources.  Ensures the division’s work is completed in alignment with the Organization’s mission, vision and strategic goals.  Responsible for division planning and budgeting and staff management.  Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of 8 years of experience in non-profit fundraising and community relations, with 3 years of directly related department management experience.  Or, a minimum of 10 years of experience in non-profit fundraising and community relations, with 3 years of directly related department management experience.  Demonstrated successful experience in major gifts management and experience working with high-level volunteers and/or board members.  Proven ability to raise private donations, develop and manage donor relationships and effectively manage staff required.  Master’s degree and CFRE certification desirable.  Please include salary requirements in cover letter.

If IT is your passion and pets are your pals, consider this opportunity!  Larimer Humane Society is searching for qualified applicants for the position of Information Technology Analyst.  This position is a one-person IT department responsible for the ensuring that Larimer Humane Society’s servers, personal computers, phone equipment and other IT equipment are working to the fullest extent possible.  In addition the position provides various IT related training for employees as well as provides project support for the operations department and leadership team including, but not limited to, data collection and analyses as required.  Essential duty areas include: database and system administration and management; IT policies and procedures; software applications; technical assistance to staff regarding computer and software use; installing and configuring software, hardware and peripheral devices; vendor relationships and more.  The regular schedule for this position is on-site Monday through Friday.  Work at home opportunities are limited.  Local applicants preferred as there is no relocation assistance available.  Please include availability and salary requirement in cover letter.
