Foster and Transfer Coordinator
Full Time (40 hrs), Exempt, Salary
Larimer Humane Society is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Foster and Transfer Coordinator. This is a regular full-time, salaried, position. The Foster and Transfer Coordinator position reports to the Organization’s Shelter Manager and is responsible for coordinating the Shelter's animal foster care and animal transfer programs. The position recruits and trains foster care volunteers, performs required home visits, and creates and delivers excellent program communications.  Responsible for coordinating the transfer of animals to breed placement groups and other transfer organizations, and coordinates transfers of animals from other shelters and facilities to Larimer Humane Society.  This position works closely with our clinic, behavior, evaluation and enrichment staff members providing back-up as needed.  Responds to emergency phone calls from foster volunteers as required.   Previous veterinary assistant and/or companion animal care experience is required.  Applicants must be able to work a varied scheduled including some evenings.  The current work schedule for this position is Tuesday through Saturday and is subject to change.    Please include salary requirements as well as days and hours of availability in cover letter.  Local candidates preferred as relocation funds are not available.     
Hiring range is in the mid to high-20’s and may be negotiable commensurate with experience.

Events and Development Coordinator
Full Time (40 hours), Exempt, Salary
Larimer Humane Society is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Events and Development Coordinator. Reporting to the Development Manager, this highly visible position is responsible for project planning and implementation for outstanding fundraising events, direct mail program management and development and management of effective business partnerships. Position requirements include a minimum of two years demonstrated comparable event and project management experience. Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. Demonstrated computer skills, attention to detail and a proven ability to multi-task and learn quickly. Raiser’s Edge experience highly preferred. Database management, Blackbaud Sphere and Greater Giving experience desired. Must be able to work a flexible schedule with regular weekend and evening shifts as required.
Hiring range is in the low to mid-30’s and may be negotiable commensurate with experience.

Volunteer Program and Humane Education Coordinator
Full Time (40 hrs), Exempt, Salary
Larimer Humane Society is seeking qualified applicants for our Volunteer and Humane Education Coordinator position.   The position reports to the Director of Development and Community Relations and is responsible for developing, implementing and coordinating all aspects of Larimer Humane Society’s volunteer program to assist in the delivery of the Organization’s programs and services.  The position is also responsible for planning and overseeing the design and implementation of the Society’s youth and adult Humane Education programs and for ensuring programs adequately represent the Society’s ideology and policies.   Volunteer program work comprises approximately 75% of position time.  Requirements include a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in volunteer management, education or public relations ; a minimum of one year experience in volunteer management, education, public relations and event planning; a minimum of one year supervisory and customer service experience; proven public speaking and project management experience and more.  Applicants must be willing and able to work a varied schedule including evenings and weekends as required.  Please indicate date of availability and salary expectations in cover letter.  Hiring range for the position starts in the is high twenties to low thirties and may be  negotiable commensurate with experience.
