Full time, Non-Exempt, Hourly position
Larimer Humane Society is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Administrative Assistant. The position reports to the Executive Director and is responsible for providing assistance to the Executive Director and to the Director of Human Resources. Provides additional assistance to other members of senior staff and the Board of Directors as required. Duties include compiling monthly, quarterly, and annual statistical reports as necessary; supporting the board of directors and board committee activities by attending meetings, preparing meeting rooms and agendas, recording meeting minutes and providing administrative support; and assisting the Executive Director in conducting daily business through administration of appropriate processes and systems. Assists the human resources department through clerical assistance for the hiring process, records, employee events, meeting coordination, birthday and service award programs, monthly newsletter creation and more. Clerical duties include: photocopying, correspondence and presentation formatting and preparation, mailing, materials distribution, filing, ordering office supplies and maintaining inventories, creating spreadsheets and more.
Minimum of Associates Degree or equivalent work experience required. At least three years of related work experience in a fast paced environment. Bookkeeping experience a plus as is providing assistance to human resources. Proven proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Excellent verbal and written communications skills and personable and professional presence and telephone skills. Short hand a plus.

Hiring range starts at 11.50 per hour and is negotiable commensurate with experience. Closes Aug. 31, 2015 or when filled.
