pdfAnimal Care Technician
2 Full Time (40 hours), Non-Exempt, Hourly positions

Larimer Humane Society is seeking qualified applicants for our Animal Care Technician team. Our Animal Care Technicians are responsible for the daily care of Shelter animals and facilities cleaning.  These positions involve a significant amount of physical labor. Animals in our care include dogs, cats, small mammals, exotic animals, barnyard animals and more. Work shifts vary and generally include at least one weekend day as the positions provide animal care coverage from 7:00am – 7:30pm Monday – Friday, and 7:00am – 5:30pm Saturday and Sunday. Please include days and times of availability in cover letter.

Full Time (40hrs), Non-Exempt, Hourly
Larimer Humane Society is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Animal Protection and Control (APC) Officer. The Society's APC positions are full time, 40 hour per week, jobs responsible for enforcing State, County, and City codes and ordinances governing animal control functions (e.g. field enforcement, licensing, animals at large, animal bite investigations, etc.) and includes animal handling and constraint. The position also perfom the dutes of an Animal Control Dispatcher. Officers represent the organization in a professional and courteous manner at all times. this position requires learning a wide range of policies, procedures and processes quickly and includes a significant amount of field work and animal handling. Requirements include a miniumum of one year animal care, welfare and/or handling in a professional position. Proven clerical and math skills required. Must be able to read and interpret ordinances, prioritize duties and multi-task within a busy work environment. Ability to relate information to the public and staff in a concise, clear manner required as is the ability to work in direct contact with aggressive, injured animals. Previous enforcement and/or dispatch experience desired. Solid computer skills required and knowledge of Chameleon software helpful. The work schedule is generally 4x10 or 5x8, subject to business need, and includes one weekend day. Compensated on-call overnight shifts are requred as are holiday shifts. Applicants must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings. Living arrangements within 30 miles of the Shelter due to on-call duties. Hiring range starts at $12.65 per hour (non-certified) and may be negotiable commensurate with certification/experience.

1 Full Time (40 hours), Non-Exempt, Hourly Position

Client Services personnel represent Larimer Humane Society in a professional and courteous manner and provide quality client service at the Shelter’s front desk.  The job requires great customer service skills, both in person and over the phone.  Must be able to quickly learn and accurately use specialized software as well as learn and apply a wide range of policies and procedure.  Work includes processing animal adoptions, animal returns to owners and animal surrenders as well as physical animal handling and other duties.  Client Services positions generally include at least one weekend shift.  Please include days and times of availability in cover letter.

Regular Full-Time (40hrs), Non-Exempt, Hourly
Larimer Humane Society, Client Services Superviors are responsible for the operation of the Service Desk, during a particular shift, ensuring clients receive consistent high quality services. This is a full-time, 40 hours per week, working supervisor position. Incumbents participate in the Shelter Team and Supervisor/Manager meetings and are engaged in reviewing work flow and suggesting and implementing improvements. Requirements include two years of customer service experience, and one year of proven supervisory experience or six months of Larimer Humane Society Lead experience. The schedule for this position will include at least one weekend day. Please include start date availability, days and times of work availability and pay rate requirements in cover letter.

Larimer Humane Society is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Events and Development Coordinator. Reporting to the Development Manager, this highly visible position is responsible for project planning and implementation for outstanding fundraising events, direct mail program management and development and management of effective business partnerships. Position requirements include a minimum of two years demonstrated comparable event and project management experience. Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. Demonstrated computer skills, attention to detail and a proven ability to multi-task and learn quickly. Raiser's Edge experience highly preferred. Hiring range is in the low to mid-30's and may be negotioable commensurate with experience.
