Animal Care Technician
Full Time (40 hours), Non-Exempt, Hourly position
Larimer Humane Society is seeking qualified applicants for our Animal Care Technician team. Our Animal Care Technicians are responsible for the daily care of Shelter animals and facilities cleaning. These positions involve a significant amount of physical labor. Animals in our care include dogs, cats, small mammals, exotic animals, barnyard animals and more. Work shifts vary and generally include at least one weekend day as the positions provide animal care coverage from 7:00am – 7:30pm Monday – Friday, and 7:00am – 5:30pm Saturday and Sunday. Animal Control Dispatcher
Regular Full-Time (40 hrs), Non-Exempt, Hourly
Animal Protection and Control (APC) Dispatchers at Larimer Humane Society are responsible for answering and responding to citizens’ calls for Animal Protection and Control assistance and assigning and dispatching requests to Officers on-duty. Dispatchers represent the organization in a professional and courteous manner at all times and are required to quickly learn a wide range of policies, processes and procedures. In additional to dispatching duties, the position requires the ability to perform the field duties of an Animal Protection and Control Officer on a limited basis. Animal Protection and Control officers are responsible for enforcing State, County and City codes and ordinances governing animal control functions (e.g., field enforcement, licensing, animals at large, tethering, etc.) including animal handling and constraint. Previous dispatch experience preferred. Solid computer and typing skills required. Experience with Chameleon software a plus. Bilingual English/Spanish a plus. Weekly work schedules are currently four, ten hour shifts including a Saturday or Sunday and are subject to change. Holiday shifts and quarterly overnight on-call shifts are required. Client Services Representative
2 Full Time (40 hours), Non-Exempt, Hourly position
1 Part Time (20-25 hours), Non-Exempt, Hourly position
Client Services personnel represent Larimer Humane Society in a professional and courteous manner and provide quality client service at the Shelter’s front desk. The job requires great customer service skills, both in person and over the phone. Must be able to quickly learn and accurately use specialized software as well as learn and apply a wide range of policies and procedure. Work includes processing animal adoptions, animal returns to owners and animal surrenders as well as physical animal handling and other duties. Client Services positions generally include at least one weekend shift. Please include days and times of availability in cover letter.

Full Time (40 hours), Exempt, Salaried position
Larimer Humane Society, located in Northern Colorado, is seeking qualified applicants for our Development Manager position. Reporting to the Director of Development and Community Outreach the incumbent engages in the planning, budgeting and evaluation of all annual fund raising activities to build support and awareness of Larimer Humane Society’s mission, programs and achievements. Responsibilities include managing a portfolio of corporate, foundation and individual donors and taking a leadership role in donor retention and moves management strategy and activities. The position manages two staff members: the Events and Development Coordinator and the Development Associate. A vital member of the Organization, the Development Manager also assist the Director of Development and Community Relations and the Executive Director with Board of Directors support, training and development.
Hiring range starts in the high-40’s and is negotiable commensurate with experience.

Director of Operations
Full Time (40 hours), Exempt, Salaried position
Larimer Humane Society is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Director of Operations. Reporting to the Executive Director, this highly visible senior management position is responsible for the strategic direction and overall management of the Organization’s Operations Division. The Division includes Animal Care and Placement, Veterinary Services, Information Technology and Facility Maintenance. The incumbent oversees the management of the Division’s employees and volunteers and ensures compliance with all applicable Federal, State and local animal care and sheltering requirements including PACFA, DEA and OSHA. Additionally, this position leads the Society’s safety program and serves as an integral partner for the construction of our new Shelter. Direct reports to the position are the Shelter Manager, Supervising Veterinarian, IT Analyst and Maintenance Technician.
Hiring range starts in the mid-60’s and may be negotiable commensurate with experience.
