Development Manager
Regular Full Time, Exempt, Salary
Larimer Humane Society’s Development Manager engages in the planning, budgeting and evaluation of all annual fund raising activities to build support and awareness of the Organization’s mission, programs and achievements.  The position includes both program and personnel management responsibilities with direct reports including the Events and Development Coordinator and the Development Associate.  Areas of responsibilities include annual giving program management, prospective donor management, and estate planning management.  This position also manages a portfolio of corporate, foundation and individual donors and takes a leadership role in donor retention.  Assists the Director of Development and Community Relations and the Executive Director in board support, training and development.   Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree or four years of equivalent experience; a minimum of three years demonstrated large event management and coordination; a minimum of one year personnel supervisory experience; a minimum of one year database analysis and management experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.  Fluency in Raiser’s Edge and Chameleon software is a plus as is capital campaign experience.  The position reports to the Director of Development and Community Relations.  
Salary range begins in the low 40’s and may be negotiable commensurate with experience.   Closes when filled.

Licensing Assistant
Regular Full-Time (40 hrs), Non-Exempt, Hourly
Licensing Assistants at Larimer Humane Society are responsible for processing animal licenses and rabies vaccination documentation and associated customer assistance. The job involves a significant amount of detailed data entry as well as customer interaction by phone and in person. Additional responsibilities include assisting with bulk mailings, collecting completed licensing forms a from off-site vendors, maintaining inventory of materials, maintaining department files and more. Processes and sorts departmental mail and performs daily cash balancing as needed. A minimum of one year customer service experience, including the ability to calm possible stressful situations, is required as is proven computer and data entry skills. The schedule for the position is generally Monday through Friday with occasional evenings and weekends. Veterinary Technician
Regular Full-Time (40 hrs), Non-Exempt, Hourly
Veterinary Technicians at Larimer Humane Society provide clinical and administrative support for the Shelter's Veterinary Services department.  Major responsibilities include assisting with the surgical program including induction and intubation of surgery patients; maintaining accurate records; performing basic animal assessment and triage; administering treatment and medications as needed; performing dental cleanings and more.  The position requires a minimum of 1 to 2 years previous work experience in a veterinary clinic and/or animal shelter clinic.  Surgical assistance and proficiency with intubation, IV catheter placement and  IV injection techniques is also required.   This is a full time, 40 hour per week, position.  Some weekend and holiday shifts may be required.   Please indicate days and times of availability in cover letter. 
Hiring range begins at $10.87 for non-certified technicians, at $11.45 for certified technicians and is negotiable commensurate with experience.

Client Services Representative (Full-time and Part-Time)
Regular Full-Time (40 hrs) or Part-Time (20 to 24 hrs), Non-Exempt, Hourly Client Services personnel represent Larimer Humane Society in a professional and courteous manner and provide quality client service at the Shelter’s front desk. Requires learning a wide range of policies and procedures and the ability to quickly learn specialized software and enter complete and accurate data into the computer system. The work includes processing animal adoptions, animal returns to owners and animal surrenders, and involves physical animal handling. Client Services positions, both full-time or part-time, generally include at least one weekend shift. Please indicate days and times of availability in cover letter.

Larimer Humane Society conducts criminal background checks, DMV checks and requires drug testing of employment candidates. Employees must be a minimum of 21 years of age for insurance purposes.
