Catherine C. Sayers joined Larimer Humane Society’s Board of Directors in June 2013.
She currently serves as the Director of Clinical Operations for Pinnacle III, a position she’s held since February 2001. As Director of Clinical Operations, Catherine develops and manages Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs) in Colorado and Connecticut. She is responsible for overseeing all business, financial and clinical operations of her clients.
Prior to working at Pinnacle III, Catherine served as the Director of Surgical Services at Orthopaedic Center of the Rockies for eight years and a perioperative registered nurse at University of Colorado for seven years. With more than thirty years of experience in the health care industry, Catherine is honored to have an award named for her service at Pinnacle III. She has published several articles and spoken at state and national ASC conferences.
Catherine holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Loretto Heights College, as well as a Master of Science in Health Administration and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Colorado.
Catherine became involved with Larimer Humane Society in November 2010 as a volunteer in the Behavior & Enrichment and Veterinary Care departments. Having lost her dog, she decided to dedicate her free time to supporting Larimer Humane Society. She is especially passionate about educating the community about safe and appropriate care of animals and the importance of spaying and neutering to prevent animal overpopulation.
Catherine currently resides in Larimer County, Colorado with her spouse, Byron T. Sayers and enjoys cycling and playing golf in her free time.
