Help Us Fight Pet Overpopulation

The Larimer Humane Society (LHS) and Fort Collins Cat Rescue (FCCR) are teaming up to try and reduce the pet overpopulation problem in northern Colorado. LHS will be offering a free spay voucher, provided by FCCR, to anyone who surrenders a litter of unwanted pets. This voucher is for a free spay surgery at Fort Collins Spay/Neuter Clinic, a part of FCCR’s agency.

Our Foster Care homes provide an invaluable service that allows us to save thousands of lives each year. Consider opening your home and joining our Foster Care team and help us care for those too young to be placed for adoption or those that need extra care from illness or surgery. Show everyone just how much you love your pet(s) by featuring them in the 2009 Larimer Humane Society Day Planner! This fundraising effort is a great way to showcase your furry family members while supporting the animals of LHS. Participate individually or get your business on-board with a group shot including your animals! Placement prices start at $50.00, and reservations on select pages may now be secured. LHS Volunteer Orientation

Want to put your love for animals to work? The next LHS volunteer orientations will be on Wednesday July 9th from 6-7:30 p.m. and Saturday July 12th from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Larimer Humane Society. There is no cost to attend but you do need to sign up for one of the orientations. For more information visit our volunteer page!
