Keep Pets, Horses and Cattle Current on Vaccinations

Three skunks have been found testing positive for rabies in populated areas of Larimer County. Be sure to vaccinate (and keep current) all pets (cats as well as dogs), horses and cattle; leash pets at all times when outdoors; keep cats indoors and bring dogs inside at night.

Registration for Fire Hydrant 5 Now Open!

On your “bark”, get set, go! Registration for Larimer Humane Society’s 22nd annual Fire Hydrant 5, 5K Walk/Run and Pet Expo is now open. The 22nd annual Fire Hydrant 5, scheduled for Saturday, June 9 at Edora Park, is the community’s largest outdoor fundraiser for homeless pets in northern Colorado. HEY KIDS 3-6-years old: Join us for STORY TIME with the animals!

Join us for next Tail Tale Story Time on Thursday, May 17th from 1:30pm – 2:30pm at the shelter!
