I adopted Macey in August, 2008 when she was 2 months. I could not have found a better puppy. She is now the head of the household and does a wonderful job of running it. She is so loving and sweet and never fails to make me laugh with her silly antics, yet she is also very loyal and protective. She loves her 2 brothers who are also rescue dogs. Playing ball is her favorite thing, and I have never seen her wear out. I feel so lucky to get to be the one to share her life, and she could not possibly be more loved! Thank you LHS for giving me my beautiful Macey.

Between March 17th and March 31st dog adopters will take a shot with our specially marked basketballs and will receive an adoption discount. Discounts include $40 or $50 off the adoption fee and a few lucky adopters will receive a free dog adoption! Pet of the Week: Meet Leopard
Hello, my name is Leopard (A277551). I am a neutered male brown tiger domestic shorthair about 2 and 1/2 years old. In the Meet Your Match program I am known as a personal assistant. That means I am an outgoing fellow ready to help you around the house. For example, if you are working on the computer I will help you press keys. If you are reading the paper I can hold the pages down for you. Once all the work is done I'll be happy to relax along side you. I am such a friendly feline you'll wonder how you ever managed without me! I am currently available for adoption at the Loveland PetSmart store, come visit with me! 20th Annual Fire Hydrant 5
Leash up your canine companion and join us for the 20th Annual Fire Hydrant 5 presented by Wags & Menace Make a Difference Foundation! The Fire Hydrant 5 is Saturday June 5, 2010 at Edora Park in Fort Collins. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. and the 5K Run/Walk begins at 8:30 a.m. Our Pet Fair featuring local businesses, breed rescue groups, demonstrations and more will be from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Registration will be available beginning April 16, 2010.
