Vaccinate Your Animals

Three skunks have been found testing positive for rabies in populated areas of Larimer County. Be sure to vaccinate (and keep current) all pets (cats as well as dogs), horses and cattle; leash pets at all times when outdoors; keep cats indoors and bring dogs inside at night.

On your “bark”, get set, go! Registration for Larimer Humane Society’s 22nd annual Fire Hydrant 5, 5K Walk/Run and Pet Expo is open. The Fire Hydrant 5, scheduled for Saturday, June 9 at Edora Park, is the community’s largest outdoor fundraiser for homeless pets in northern Colorado. If you missed early bird registration, have no fear! You can still receive a $5 discount on registration when you register a team of six or more.
